A obra integra 18 projetos na cidade do Porto assinados pelo gabinete Floret Arquitectura. Atelier fundado em 2001 na cidade do Porto, por Adriana Floret (arquitetura) e David Afonso (filosofia). N\u00e3o por acaso, a reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o do patrim\u00f3nio edificado constitui uma das \u00e1reas de refer\u00eancia do trabalho desenvolvido pelo atelier, constituindo-se como a espinha dorsal da identidade e do m\u00e9todo de trabalho – integrado e interdisciplinar. Assume a arquitetura como uma pr\u00e1tica oficinal, um mester que \u00e9 exercido a partir do conhecimento acad\u00e9mico e tecnol\u00f3gico e da acumula\u00e7\u00e3o da experi\u00eancia em obra, muito marcada pela especificidade da hist\u00f3ria da arquitetura e dos m\u00e9todos construtivos locais. Assim, para al\u00e9m do patrim\u00f3nio, a identidade do atelier foi-se construindo, em grande parte, adossada \u00e0 participa\u00e7\u00e3o c\u00edvica e ao exerc\u00edcio da profiss\u00e3o enquanto of\u00edcio, ou seja, enquanto uma atividade artesanal.
